I received an email from a new dealer this week letting me know they were just getting started and planned to hire some sales representatives. The dealer was asking me what types of sales training resources were available to assist him in developing his dealership. As I began to reply, I realized how many resources are available to anyone willing to access them. I believe, this is one of the great advantages of being associated with SafeStreets USA. Let me point out a few in hopes you will be reminded and encouraged to take advantage of them.

Weekly Sales Training Webinars

Each week I offer a live online series of webinars. These webinars are designed as an initial training for new dealers and sales representatives. On Tuesdays I cover the Command and Control system, the field devices, how we package our product into the six different monitoring plans, and the pricing. It’s important you understand the product. Only when you are excited about our product will you be able to effectively encourage others to become our customers. On Wednesdays I cover lead generation. The number one reason why people fail in sales is that they lack enough qualified prospects to tell their story to. During this session, I will show a dozen different ways to generate qualified leads. On Thursday we cover the sales presentation. One week I cover in-home presentations and the following week I cover making a sale by phone. Two completely different approaches. Once you have someone to tell your story to, you need to have a plan for how you will do it. Uncovering needs and building value will lead to a successful outcome. These webinars begin at 11:00 AM EST and last 90 minutes. Your dealer receives a weekly reminder and the Zoom Meeting links.

Order-Entry Portal Training Webinars

Every Tuesday and Thursday at 2:30 PM EST I offer a 30-minute webinar on how to create an order using the portal. Check with your dealer for the Zoom Meeting link.

Sales Training Manual

Did you know we have a 54-page manual? In the Dealer Dropbox you will find this resource. If you are new to sales, this will be an invaluable tool. It covers all the basics in detail. Not only what to do, but why we do it. It represents many years of sales experience curated into an easy to follow approach. If you are building a sales team, everyone should have a copy, and this will give you the content you need to run your daily sales and training meetings.
